EDUCATION
Parents, Local Communites and States Should Be Left To The Education of Our Children, Not The Federal Government!
It always amazes me when people talk about the benefits of free markets for goods and services and then say that we should not have it in education. I believe that parents, local communites and States know how to best educate our children.
Parents should be left to choose where their children go to school, be it in a public school, private school or home school. I am a strong supporter of vouchers.
Education is critical to the future success of our economy. Increased federal spending has not improved the situation. It's time to get the federal government out of the way and put the power back in the hands of parents who know how to provide the best education for their children.
As your representative, I will fight for school vouchers in order to give parents the choice, while allowing the market to determine which schools and teachers survive.
